After a long while being practically dead because of bandwith troubles with it not being enough. Now after a long while of planning the podcast, it is now back online on its brand new and own website www.csttpodcast.com! It’s all new graphics, all new intro and all new episodes coming, but a good thing, if you were a previous subscriber all you need to do is to make sure to have the right podcast feed URL and use the correct link to iTunes. Or just do a search for Creative Suite Tips and Tricks on there!

» Photoshop World Orlando Week

This is the week when Photoshop World Orlando is going to be! Official dates are the 2-4 with the pre-con day tomorrow on april fools day. I really wish I could be over there visiting as it looks to be a real blast! I guess I’ll be able to make it some day. The theme of this year is "The Evolution". Here is an un-official little guide for Photoshop World Orlando!

About The Tech Expo

Even if you haven’t registered for the full Photoshop World Conference but live in the area nearby, you can still go and visit the Tech Expo, where most of the companies in the market will be having a both. There are also free mini-classes right on the show floor, and of course the taping of Photoshop User TV, live! To get into the Tech Expo for free, just follow this link, to get a free Expo Pass that is $20 otherwise! Also present on the tech expo is the Help Desk, live on the floor as well as a lot of other cool things.

Special Photoshop World Events

There are a lot of special events that are happening on Photoshop World and on of the more famous one, apart from the opening keynote, is the Hall of Fame where two new people get inducted there, right in the keynote. Now you also have the very cool Portfolio Reviews where you get the chance of getting your portfolio reviewed by the best artists in the industry!

If you are going to Photoshop World yourself, why don’t you check out the Dinner with a Stranger where you get the chances of meeting a fellow photoshop person while having dinner. If that isn’t for you, then perhaps the Photoshop World After-Hours party is? After the closing of the day you have the big after hours party where there’ll be loads of entertainment. Don’t forget either, that you always have Midnight Madness, the fun event and you gotto to read the deal because I’m not going to tell you here.

» Weekend Website Updates

Photoshop Express Learning Center

Firstly, the Photoshop Express Learning Center here on Bernskiold Media is now fully loaded with the complete tutorial series on Photoshop Express! You can visit the learning center on the link or by clicking on the image above to get up to speed with the new Photoshop Express right now!

Name Change and new header!

 As you may have noticed, the site has got a brand new name now. I have decided that considering content and all, it is now best to name the site Bernskiold Media which also more clearly defines what the site is about. The domain however, will be staying the same as before and no updates are required to view the site for you!

Also updated is the header with a little more modern navigation bar, that is perhaps a little bit more interesting than the previous. Expect some smaller design updates to be coming this week on with some cool smaller features as well.

Website backend updated to WordPress 2.5

The backend has been updated to the brand new release version of WordPress which is version 2.5. It features a redesigned admin panel and some new features for the end viewer as well, which I’ll be working on incorporating in the near future, but don’t expect a ton, most of the updates coming are planned ones

» Adobe to change Photoshop Express terms

 After a lot of complaints throughout the web on a clause in the Photoshop Express terms of use, Adobe has stated that they will be putting their legal team on rewriting the said clause. The clause can be read:

8. Use of Your Content. Adobe does not claim ownership of Your Content. However, with respect to Your Content that you submit or make available for inclusion on publicly accessible areas of the Services, you grant Adobe a worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, distribute, derive revenue or other remuneration from, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform and publicly display such Content (in whole or in part) and to incorporate such Content into other Materials or works in any format or medium now known or later developed.

A note from Adobe today however promises that it will be looked over and rewritten. The note reads as following:

We’ve heard your concerns about the terms of service for Photoshop Express beta. We reviewed the terms in context of your comments - and we agree that it currently implies things we would never do with the content. Therefore, our legal team is making it a priority to post revised terms that are more appropriate for Photoshop Express users. We will alert you once we have posted new terms. Thank you for your feedback on Photoshop Express beta and we appreciate your input.

So now it is just to hope for the best and that there will be a more agreeable terms of use.

Our own Adobe Photoshop Express Learning Center goes live now on the website! I’m working on a lot more video tutorials but the first parts are up and more are coming as  they get processed and uploaded on the video site! The learning center will also be published over at the Photography Corner because of a partnership we’ve done with them when it comes to tutorials.
