Away for the weekend!

I meant to have this posted in the morning but I had some troubles with the internet, which is why it is now late. I’m going away to the most southern part of Sweden for a couple of days with my cousin and his family. It’s going to be a nice relaxing time (as long as the weather holds up…) and thanks to the magic of today’s technology you’ll get a pre-set blog post on the way

I’m home again!

I’m back home again from my week away at the Koster Islands. I’m currently processing the photos I’ve yet to put up and I’ll be sharing them over the span of the week. Just a short notice, not much more to say other than back to work.

Monday Quickies

It’s a very relaxing Monday for me because I’m sitting here in the quietness and I’m just relaxing and enjoying the time. I thought however you guys should get a few quick news updates as always.

• If you are new to CSS coding you should check out this good tutorial on using float elements form the base up. It’s just All About Floats. It’s the base of website coding nowadays and you should really know it.
   
• Apple has gone ahead and released OS X 10.5.4 which fixes a few bugs and improves things overall. You can view all the updates in an Apple Helpfile. The update can be downloaded right from the Software Update.

I’m at the Koster Islands!

I’ve arrived at the Koster Islands where I’ll be spending the week. I’m also very happy to report that my mobile broadband (that’s brand new) works as I’d hoped, so I have internet access all the week which means I’ll be able to share photos with you all as they come, as well as some dose of news. The image below is what I see outside my window almost from my bed (at least from the little table in the mini-house) well, apart from the fact from that it is an HDR photo. Pretty beautiful isn’t it!

I’ll be scouting around the island from tomorrow and throughout the week and shoot a variety of subjects. From flora to landscapes to forests and to animals, here is everything. I’ll also make good use of my brand new macro lens.

Late Evening Update

 Alright so I took the train this morning down to the most beautiful little town and coastline that I know of here just north of the city Halmstad here in Sweden. It’s mostly a quick visit to my grandparents but obviously you can’t turn down an amazing shooting opportunity. This is the result of this evening’s shoot, well one of the results (I have a few more). Gonna share some more later one but for now, this’ll have to do. It’s so nice to get out there after working so long with little time for it!

I’m back Friday!

 Yes, you did read totally correct, I’m back home again and I had a very great time up in Branäs here in Sweden, skiing with all my friends in my class and best of all just having a blast and relaxing from all stress. I hope you’ve all had a very good week and I want to take a moment to thank my buddy Max for posting the news while I was gone! For more of Max’s stuff, check out his site here.

Now I’m just going to be finishing some work and projects I need to do, two websites, a logo, banners and also an e-magazine. I’ll be a busy, oh and I also need to get thinking on a birthday gift, my birthday is on March 11.

I’ll be back on Friday!

 Me and my class will be going on a ski trip from early tomorrow morning until late on Thursday night! We’re going to a place here in Sweden called "Branäs" (in case there is any Swedish person here who wants to know ) and I expect to be having a lot of fun and some relaxing as well.

I’m going to be back with a lot more energy on Friday (energy which is going to keep on coming until after my birthday on the 11th) and then it is all putting that into all work things I’m going to be behind on!

So, bye for the time being and do note that I’ve asked my buddy Max to help me out with posting the news this week for me while I’m away!

Back home!

I’m currently back home and I’m catching up to everything that I couldn’t do whilst being away and resuming the project work as well with quite a few customer projects to do right now. Tomorrow will see a usual Monday Newsflash with some cool stuff gathering up for you Oh and by the way, there are two new tutorials up, one on History and Snapshots in Lightroom and the other one about HDR in Photoshop, they are booth in the featured tutorial box up top

Off to Stockholm for a couple of days!

I’m just letting you know that I’m going off to Stockholm for a couple of days (our capital city) to visit my cousins that live there. This means I will not be able to access internet at all or very limited to check emails or similar only and not comment and stuff here on dA, so all your comments will have to wait until I get back on Saturday evening and resume full process again on Sunday.

I’ll only bring my small camera as well because of the risk that things get stolen and I don’t want to risk that and seeing as I don’t really have a special motive to shoot anyway, I’m going to let my little Nikon Coolpix 4600 come with, only I might have a pic or two for you anyway though!

I hope to have a great time though and it is going to be nice with some time off from my normal schedule before school and all. See you all on Sunday or if I happen to get a great photo still, I’ll be sharing it with you of course

Home and swamped with work!

So I’m home from vaccation again and it leaves with with a tonload of client projects to finish off. All is going smoothly though and should be finished soon. Speaking of soon, soon it is back to school with only 21 days left (I start again on the 21 August), a real pity indeed!
