1Password
I got this application through a MacHeist and I’ve been using it with love ever since. 1Password makes it really simple to manage passwords and login information from many different places in a simple and organized way. As a web designer, media guy and a web host, I log in to a ton of different places per day and keep track of a lot of login information to client sites and to my servers etc. I need to be easily able to fetch passwords and login information and use it quickly.
What I think sets 1Password apart from the other programs I’ve previously tried is that it allows me to access all saved login information, per site, right from my browser. I just wish that there was plugins for FTP programs as well because frankly, it’s just so easy to login and create secure (which equals unrememberable) passwords.
With the addition of My.1Password which I’ve only tried briefly, it looks like they are taking the program one step further. Having passwords on the internet in a secure vault is very nifty from whenever you are away. Perhaps the only trouble here is that you need to have a super secure password to get in there, that you’d have to remember.
The abilty also to sync my passwords to my iPhone is also very cool and very easy to do. Having them always with you makes the thing about creating good passwords a whole lot simpler.
All in all the interface of 1Password is very intuitive and I think they’ve done a great job with the application so far and I hope it continues in the same amazing way. It is a part of my daily workflow and I’d do thngs a whole lot slower if I hadn’t got 1Password!

[...] I’m an avid fan of the Mac application called 1Password that helps you store and manage your passwords. I was thrilled to hear that they were coming out with an iPhone App as well and even more thrilled when I heard the price of it. Free! It really helps to have your database on your iPhone as well because after a while of using 1Password you rely on it a bit to remember a few of the hard passwords you just cannot remember. So if you are using 1Password, check out the currently free iPhone application in the App Store. If you are not a 1Password user, check out my review of it. [...]
