» Late “Last” Monday News

I’ve been very busy today sorting and working with photos from my week away last week and getting back into things so that’s why there have been this little delay in the news post.
- Last Wednesday the ISO group decided to take the Adobe PDF document seriously and approved it as an ISO standard. From now and on the format will be recognised as format ISO32000-1 and it will be controlled by the organisation.
- Last week also Google announced that the search engine is now indexing flash! According to their official blog they have now "perfected the algorithm" to now index flash. This is all pretty exciting as it makes SEO with flash a lot easier! Read more about it at Viget Inspire.
- Last but not least Nik Software has announced the release of Color Efex Pro 3.0 for Nikon Capture NX 2.0. Existing users can upgrade to the 3.0 version for free. The software is available in a Complete ($179.95) and a Select ($99.95) edition.

» It’s Thursday
I couldn’t think of a good topic for todays post so, it is Thursday will have to do. Couple of tidbits for you today as always.
- Pro wedding photographer, David Ziser has a cool post series on his Digital ProTalk blog today that all deals with some business tips (every thursday is "Business Day Thursday" on his blog).
- If you are a flash designer you’ll find this blog post from Smashing Magazine very interesting. It’s a showcase of some very creative flash preloaders that should get your creative juices flowing!
- Photographers also get another thing on the board today. If you haven’t already you should get to checking out the amazing and helpful community over at Photography Corner. It’s basically a photography forum where it all centers about the community spirit. With helpful members who are actively commenting on the photos in the feedback sections and helping out in the gear and help sections you just have to love the place. They also have two monthly contest, Contest Corner Challenges - where you are supposed to shoot a photo to match a specific theme; and also the Photograph of the Month - a contest where photos get nominated by members and then voted by members to which is the best photograph, every month!

Long week it has been without much news posted and it is finally weekend though, which is great.
First off we have a contest tip! It’s from Think Tank and it’s a daily prize draw, from November 16 to December 15. Head over to the contest site and put in your first name and e-mail and you will be in the draw every day! So if you don’t win one day, you’ll still be in the next. One bag per day and the only bag you cannot win is the Airport Security Roller! So check that out!
Printing problem in Photoshop CS3…Adobe is on it!

Pros and Cons of Flash-Based web galleries!
