On Monday June 29th at 12 p.m EDT, GridIron Flow along with John Nack from Adobe will hold a webinar announcing "something new" from them both. This comes right at the time where the Flow public beta (beta 3) expires at July 1st, chances are big that we might see a cool, full release.
If you want to watch the webinar and be a part of the event, you need to register for free on their website.
As a Photoshop user, I feel the must to subscribe to John Nack’s blog. For those of you who don’t know who John is, he is a product manager for Photoshop. That makes his blog a really good one to follow. On it, he posts a lot of cool things that’s happening online in regards to Photoshop but also from time to time tips on the app as well as discussions on future versions and features in current releases.
Make sure you go over and read John’s blog, it isn’t really much to discuss if you are using Photoshop! More of a must read!
It’s another start of the week and after a full weekened, I’m pretty tired, yet it’s back to school again for another week. Here’s the news:
- Over at Viget Inspire they have a cool article about Creating Unique Shapes Using Actionscript and Flash! The article has some really nice demonstrations on what you can achieve with this and also allows you to download the source files for it.
- John Nack posted on his blog a reply to some rants sent to Adobe through the cool website, Dear Adobe. Some of the rants were very well formed and said while others are the opposite. Both the blog post and the Dear Adobe site is worth checking out!
- There are rumours all over that a new iPod Nano design is coming and not a day goes by before we see something new or tweaked. The addition to the rumours come now from a case maker who’ve already made and is selling a case for the rumoured upcoming 4-gen nano. We’ll see where this all is going.
- To wake up and start the week, we all need a bit of insperation. I’m going to send you to the portfolio of a buddy of mine, Andy. He’s got some really good photos there which he are also selling, limited edition (hence the name, One of 42).
A blog post will come up later today about the Photowalk this weekend! I say now though that it was a great event and I’m happy to be able to share some photos with you later.
It’s the time of the year, two new industry professionals are being inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame and this time around it is award winning book author and fashion photographer, Martin Evening as well as Photoshop Product Manager, John Nack! Both Martin and John really has done a lot for the industry and are very well worth the induction into the Hall of Fame. It was created back in 2001 as a way of honouring the people who’ve made a great difference to Photoshop.
For more information and the past inductees, visit the Photoshop Hall of Fame site.
