Another week, another preset. This time it is another Adobe Camera Raw preset called BoomContrast which will boost the contrast up tremendously to a point where it can be too much for some photos. Feel free to tweak to your liking and use, after all it is created for a reason!

» ACR Preset: The Old Bleached

 

Here is a little cool newly created Adobe Camera Raw preset. We have a ton floating around for Lightroom so I figured I’d create a few for camera raw, because it is just that nice to have presets.

It is called "The Old Bleached" just because what it will do (as you see on the preview up top) is bleach out the photo a bit as well as giving it a higher contrast and shift the tint to a little more yellow look. It’s a little all-in-one.

To install it, open any photo inside of Adobe Camera Raw. Click the little flyout icon in the sidebar at the right of the panel name and in it, choose Load Settings and load the .xmp file that you’ve downloaded into there. You can also copy the downloaded files to the Settings folder, on a mac located here:

Users > [username] > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Camera Raw > Settings
