In this tutorial, we are going to create and add a metadata preset to a bunch of photos, using Adobe Bridge CS4.
Creating The Template

To create the template, go to Tools and then to Create Metadata Template.

First, fill in the title (1) of the template that you are creating. In this case, I’m creating a standardized template with my copyright information in it. Then (2), in the list, you can choose to fill in the information that you want in the template.
Selecting The Images

Select the images that you want to apply the template to.
Append or Replace Metadata

You have got two options. Either you can append the metadata, meaning you add what is in this template to whatever exists. Or you can replace it, overwriting what is currently there. My recommendation is to use append as if you use overwrite, it will make all the other fields that you haven’t filled in blank!
